Hello,

I just received the Van's Gun Blue, I had already Prepped the barrel and other parts, I can't tell you how impressed I am with your product. I am a firm believer that the Prep is vital to the final result. So for anyone that want's to refinish, my recommendation is TAKE your time, and you will be surprised and pleased with the result.

Thanks for a SUPER ProductHello,

This little guy chewed the stock of my Browning 12 ga.! Does anybody know of a good wood finisher that I can apply after I smooth it all out?
I thought Van used to sell something called Arrow or something.

I just used Van's Instant Gun Blue and all I can say is WOW. I used it to do a touch up on my S&W 29-2 barrel and it blended perfectly with the existing bluing. You can't even tell that a touch up was done. Beautiful.Easy to use and competitively priced.
Thanks,Carter
Hello: Just finished re-doing my KelTech P3AT slide with your blue and was very happy with it, and plan on ordering more to redo my Colt 1911 slide. Just a tip for what it's worth. After using the Van's as a dip for the KelTec slide for several minutes, I removed the slide, re-heated it, and then applied Fiebing's petroleum-based permanent black leather dye. The results were dramatic, almost as good as the Remington BDL factory blueing. Much darker color and perfectly even than with just your blueing. Upon drying, buffing and oiling, no residue. The Fiebing's didn't come off.

Hello, I've ordered a 4oz Van's Blue some month ago and I'm VERY glad about theresult. I've totaly and easily restored 2 Diana mod.15 and mod.16 (heres'attached the restoration in .pdf) airguns who had a quite a worn or nonexistant blueing at all after having sanded their parts.I've followed your advice and heated the parts with a hairdryer beforebathing them in Van's Blue (the batching is more effective than rubbingthe parts with Van's Blue. The blueing is very homogenous. I've made atest before with an brand new stell washer and it turned to a nice darkblue after a good Vans' Blue bath and a good 0000 steelwool rubbing)So Id'like to order Van's blue again.

Thanks in advance,Kind regards,Stephane
